Alsager won the toss and elected to bat. Muzammil Nizam made a patient 63 from 119 balls with eight fours, adding 68 for the 4th wicket with Kashif Bhatti, who made a run-a-ball 38 with three fours and four sixes as Alsager recovered from 38/3. They both fell quickly, and the home side subsided to 151 all out with Hafiz Suleman claiming 4/28. He was backed up by Scott Winnington and Cian Gibson, who took two wickets each.
Matt Arnold made 27 at the top of the order for the visitors before they were reduced to 60/3. Suleman then made 45 from 69 balls with seven fours and a six before Matt Kenvyn made a run-a-ball 61* with eight fours and four sixes to take his side to victory. Bhatti claimed 3/31 and Waqas Ahmed claimed a further 2 wickets, but they didn’t have enough runs to play with in the end.
Cheadle vs Ashcombe Park.

Ashcombe Park won the toss and elected to bat. Haroon Mahmood made 33 from 55 balls with six fours, before the visitors were blown away for just 63. Will Dobbie continued his fine form by snaring 5/9 from 9.2 overs. James Sellers and Matt Goodwin picked up 4 wickets between them.
Alfie Bonehill smashed 29* from just 15 balls with seven boundaries as the home side raced to their small target in just 9.1 overs.
Elworth vs Barlaston.
Elworth won by 61 runs.
Elworth won the toss and elected to bat. Willoughby Happe anchored the home side’s innings with a fine 103. His innings contained seventeen fours and a six and came in just 101 balls. He added 79 with Russ Ballard for the 5th wicket after they’d been reduced to 33/4. Ballard made 31 from 80 balls with four fours and a six before Chris made 30 from 34 balls with three boundaries as the home side were bowled out for 219. Ethan Squire bagged 5/50 as he ran through the lower order. Fida Hussain supported him with 3/41.
Hussain then made 50 from 95 balls with ten boundaries as he played an almost lone hand in the second innings. Ben Sharp made 28 with six fours, and Squire added a late 21* with a four and two sixes as the visitors were bowled out for 158. Stephen Morgan was the pick of the Elworth bowlers, finishing with 3/25 from 13 testing overs. Jarrod McKay and Chris Winter took 4 wickets between them as the home side secured a comfortable victory.
Hem Heath 2nd XI vs Norton-In-Hales.
Norton-In-Hales won by 82 runs.
Hem Heath won the toss and elected to bowl. Salman Khan powered his way to a commanding 132 from 141 balls with sixteen fours and two sixes after the visitors lost two early wickets. He added 194 with Isaac Foster for the 3rd wicket as the visitors were setting up a mammoth total. Foster made 86 from 106 balls with twelve fours and two sixes as he offered fine support to Khan. Sajith Lama Hewage added a breezy 34* with four fours and a six as Norton-In-Hales declared on a daunting 285/5 from 50 overs. Jaidel Richardson picked up 4/66 as he was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors.
Wilson Roe made a patient 49 from 116 balls with five fours as he added 116 with Richardson for the 4th wicket after the home side had been reduced to 22/3. Richardson was far more aggressive, and he blasted 79 from just 67 balls with thirteen fours and a six. The visitors continued to chip away at the Hem Heath batting line-up after Roe and Richardson were dismissed. Nazakat Ali made 23 from 67 balls as the home side tried hard to hang on for a draw, but the visitors took the winning wicket in the 62nd over to secure a fine victory. Ant Sheeran finished with 3/24 from 10 overs, and he received fine support from Jack Furnival, who took 3/51 as it was Norton-In-Hales who took the points.
Knypersley vs Wood Lane.
Wood Lane won by 65 runs.
Wood Lane won the toss and elected to bat. Dan Brierley’s fantastic 110* from 126 balls with eighteen fours and a six formed the backbone of the visitors’ 207/9 declared. He added 51 vital runs for the 9th wicket with Billy Jones (19) to get his side up to a competitive score. Joe Dutton, Jacob Cumberbatch, Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti and Dom Cumberbatch all took two wickets each for the home side, but as hard as they tried, they couldn’t remove the stubborn Brierley.
Dom Cumberbatch made a patient 41 from 114 balls with three fours as he dug in at the top of the order for the home side. Richard Hassell was quickly into his work and wickets began to fall at regular intervals before Toby Fallows dropped the anchor in an effort to secure a draw for his side. He batted for 78 balls before he was last man out to Hassell as Wood Lane secured victory in the 61st over. The impressive Hassell finished with 5/33 from 14.4 overs as he bowled his side to victory. Martin Dawson offered good support as he finished with 3/20 to secure the points for the visitors.
Rode Park & Lawton vs Stone 2nd XI.
Rode Park & Lawton won by 3 wickets.
Rode Park & Lawton won the toss and elected to field. William Farrow made a brilliant 121 from 156 balls with sixteen fours as he got the visitors off to a fine start. He shared 136 with Reuben Hall for the 3rd wicket as Stone pushed on from their good start. Hall would make 52 from 72 balls with five fours and a six before Stone closed on 282/6 from their 55 overs. The visitors were helped by an eye-watering 49 extras from the home side. Jamie Heath took two wickets for Rode Park as they were unable to stem the flow of runs.
Rode Park were reduced to 48/3 before Lee Evans played a tremendous innings for the home side. He made an unbeaten 90 from 146 balls with fourteen fours and a six as he took them to a remarkable victory. He found a willing partner in Lewis Bent, who made 76 from 85 balls with twelve fours and two sixes as they shared 113 for the 4th wicket as they got their side back into the game. Joel Gallimore then teamed up with Evans as they shared 86 for the 5th wicket. Gallimore made 46 at better than a run-a-ball with eight fours before he was dismissed with 36 still needed for victory from the last 6 overs. After Heath was dismissed first ball, Jon Gallimore then added a 20-ball 25* with two fours and two sixes as Rode Park secured a thrilling victory from the final ball of the match. Evans had batted for 53.3 overs and 216 minutes to see his side over the line in this remarkable game. Chanaka Ekanayake claimed 3/36, and Isaac Rowley claimed a further two wickets, but it just wasn’t enough for the visitors in the end.
